Your own website

• Approved cars appear on Garage OS public stock pages, with an enquiry form that sends each enquiry in as a lead.
• If you already have a website, it can show your approved stock and send enquiries, and call and WhatsApp taps, into Garage OS through its public interface. You create a key for it in Settings, choose what the key may do, and name the web addresses allowed to use it.
• A key is shown once, and can be rotated or revoked. The public interface never gives out costs, internal photos and files, or lead details.

Files in

• Supplier price lists from a CSV, with a preview before anything changes.
• Supplier invoices and credit notes from a CSV, or from a PDF that contains text, read into a draft that a person confirms.
• Vehicle stock can’t be imported from a file yet: cars are entered on a desktop or a phone.

Files out

• An accountant export as a CSV: sales, recorded payments, supplier invoices and credit notes for any period up to a year.
• The audit log as a CSV.
• A full export of your garage’s records, for the owner. It holds the records, not the photos and documents.
• A customer’s details exported, or erased, when they ask.
• Supplier order paperwork and the customer’s order form as PDFs.

Advertising portals

Garage OS gives you a copy pack for posting a car by hand on portals such as DoneDeal and Carzone, and records the advert’s address afterwards. It has no connection to DoneDeal, Carzone or CarsIreland, and doesn’t post to them for you.
